Media History Digital Library

The Media History Digital Library is a database of scanned film, media, and broadcasting magazines. It was created in 2009 by David Pierce and is now led by Eric Hoyt at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Sam re-designed MHDL’s the PostgrSQL database which underlies MHDL and the SOLR Index that powers Lantern, the search engine for the MHDL, and created developed the scripts which gather and process the information about the scans from the Internet Archive.
