They are getting everything ready for the start of the Free Culture Comference 2010, first out of the Gates is the Politics of Open Networks panel moderated by Michael Nelson from Georgetown University. One things this photo doesn’t show is that of all the people here I seem to be the only one that did not bring a laptop and there is only one available power outlet. I am really looking forward to when the power, and connectivity, starved geeks revolt and slaughter a pig with their bare hands.

This song. It comes up and I can’t just listen to it once. I end up playing it all day. One time I made the mistake of putting it on a mix CD and played it in the car. All the way to work. The desktop that really matters. Sorry tumblr for not being on the bottom bar, but I just use those others too much.
Since everyone is showing off their desktops today I figured i would get in on the fun, with my wedding spectacular desktop. Not that I am having a wedding soon, or have any future plans to have one, but thanks to Kasper Hauser I was able to find this website and the front page was so good I had to make it my background. Oh, and it is Windows 7 and there are icons and shit, but really just look at that background image. Isn’t it sublime?
